I exist as a human person on the planet, totally definitely from this earth planet, which is where I have something I call “a home,” and I do not call anywhere off of this earth planet “home.”

Here, you can see photographic evidence that gravity does affect my body in normal ways, by holding me to what we can all be assured is earth.

I’m sure you have no further questions about where I’m from or if I am indeed of a “human” species identification. Which we have established with almost total certainty.

No person has asked me a single question, so calling this page “Frequently Asked Questions” seems hilarious.

So we’re keeping it.

What?

I don’t know, man. It’s your question.

Where do you live?

I live in Reno, Nevada.

I know, I know. I used to think it was an armpit, too. But hear me out: It’s actually not.

The casinos are basically confined to one pretty sketchy area, and then the rest of Reno is pretty vast and spread out, with lots of open spaces (which are under rapid development because this city is growing like crazy). Russ and I live in the Virginia Mountains to the West of South Reno (in human directions, that would be “Southwest of Reno, but we Renoirs have different names for things). We have a view of the valley between a bunch of mountains. There are wild horses and animals, sagebrush, and all sorts of amazingness. Every day, the clouds are so incredible that we get tired of telling each other about it (but we still do). We live on a 10-acre property on top of a mountain, so no neighbors are all up in our business. We get lots of snow, lots of rain, lots of wind, and lots of sun… basically, lots of every weather pattern you could imagine!

Why can’t I upload a photo to this FAQ answer? Anyways, you’ll have to take my word for it. At least until I write a blog post that’s a love letter to Reno.

Do you take commissions for products that you mention?

This photography gear isn’t going to pay for itself!… Oh wait, it can? That’s literally a business plan? Well, catch a coyote and call it a chihuahua!

Still, yes, whenever I can, I do collect commissions. Why shouldn’t I take some of Amazon’s money? Lord knows they’ve taken enough of mine.

Do you have a day job or do you do this full time?

Yes and yes/no. In 2013, my husband Russ and I founded Outlaw Soaps (which also makes cologne and body wash, beard oil, etc etc). A lot of what I do for Outlaw is photography, so I’m using my Outlaw camera for these photos and stuff, and all the merch/sales are likely going to go through Outlaw’s bank accounts. Ultimately, my big raison d’etre is tied to Outlaw.

Everyone needs raisins d’etre. Delicious etre raisins.

But also, I pretty much do creative work full time. So yes.

Do you do brand partnerships?

Aw, thank you for asking, hypothetical asker!

Right now, I’m reviewing travel and photography-related places & things. If you have a backpack, fanny pack, or any other kind of pack (including a wolf pack, which definitely gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️); a drone, a phone, a trombone, or anything else that rhymes with “pwn” (that’s an old-school meme for you younger generation); an Air BNB (see example photos of Kaleidoscope Desert), a hotel, a motel, a yert, a patch of ground for a trailer, or any other dwelling accommodation (rated G only)… any of those things, or related things, or unrelated things… I’d be interested in reviewing and/or posting about it.

Please Contact Me and we’ll chat!

Can I use your photos for my blog/brand/products/movie/social media/etc?

Not without prior written authorization, so, in general, no.

The only exception is phone or desktop wallpaper. I believe that a creative workspace is important for a creative life.

However, please don’t make me have reason to ruin my photos with watermarks.
